You don’t ask for roots. You make ruido.
Contemporary Mexican music, context and the urge to keep listening.
RUIDO REGIONAL is here to listen to contemporary Mexican music and everything around it: the songs, their roots, the scenes that support them and the humor that makes them ours.
We publish original stories grounded in linked sources. We distinguish news from opinion, an announcement from a confirmed date, and a session made elsewhere from our own production.
Review dates matter. Shows change, and albums can be announced without a calendar. We would rather say what we know and where it comes from than fill the gaps.
There is room here for tradition and for sounds that do not yet have a label. Pásale. The conversation sounds better when more of us are in it.
